AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Organized by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the international webinar titled “Ashura: A Narrative of Dignity under the Shadow of Guardianship and Resistance” was held with the participation of over 30 Shiite women from 15 countries in English, Arabic, and Persian.
Dr. Roknabadi, head of the Women’s Affairs Department at the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Ashura is the point at which servitude to the Creator and obedience to the Imam were brought to the forefront. Imam Hussain (a.s.), through his battle against oppression and injustice, transformed the course of history with perseverance and steadfastness.”
She added that Ashura, as the pinnacle of sacrifice and devotion in Islam in the path of obedience to God, His Messenger, and the AhlulBayt (a.s.), is the same path that has inspired the Resistance in the Islamic Republic of Iran against the Zionist and American regimes. She called for the preservation of unity, solidarity, and synergy among Muslims in various countries.
Speakers at the webinar, referring to the current critical juncture in human history, emphasized the importance of not losing the path, illuminating the future with the light of guardianship, and taking inspiration from the family whose story, we have whispered since childhood every year in Muharram and wept for, urging resistance and steadfastness in the path of truth and guardianship.
